If you are a voter that is 60 years or older and/or you meet any of the following qualifications, click below to request an application for an absentee ballot.

Qualifications are as follows:

  • Must be a registered voter.

  • Voters 60 years of age and older.

  • Voters who are hospitalized, ill, or physically disabled, and unable to appear at their polling place for this election.

  • Voters who are caretakers of a person who is hospitalized, ill, or physically disabled.

  • Voters who will be outside of Davidson County during all hours of Early Voting (July 17- Aug 1) and Election Day Aug 6.

  • Voters who are enrolled as a full time student or are the spouse of a student at an institution outside of Davidson County.

  • A voter with a disability whose polling place is inaccessible.

  • A voter who resides in a licensed facility, outside of the county, providing relatively permanent care, i.e. a nursing home.

  • A voter who is a candidate.

  • A voter on jury duty in a state or federal court.

  • A voter serving as an election official or a member or employee of the Election Commission on Election Day.

  • A voter who is observing a religious holiday that prevents them from voting early or on Election Day.

  • A voter who is a member of the military, spouse, or dependent; an activated National Guard member on state orders; or an overseas citizen and otherwise qualified to vote in TN.

Please Note

If you requested an absentee ballot in the August 6th Primary you have to request ANOTHER one for the November 3rd General Election.
